The KLAS award for “Category Leader 2014” in the “Pharmacy Automation IV Robots” category was presented to Intelligent Hospital Systems (IH Systems) at the ASHP show in Anaheim on December 8, 2014. RIVA, the fully automated IV compounding system developed by IH Systems, earned the highest customer rankings in several areas including quality of implementation, product working as promoted, delivery of new technology and overall satisfaction, according to a new study of IV automation systems from independent healthcare research firm KLAS.
In assessing robot product performance, KLAS notes that, “Intelligent Hospital Systems’ RIVA again received the highest functionality scores.” RIVA also scored highest for overall product quality. Customers describe IH Systems as a proactive vendor that consistently develops and supports a quality product. Half of RIVA customers indicated IH Systems is the best vendor they work with, and said the vendor experience and robot performance are well worth the money, rating RIVA much higher on value.
